On the Boards: 9201 Delridge Mini Storage
The 9201 Delridge Mini Storage proposal was approved this week by the Southwest Design Review Board. The 4-story project is located on Delridge Way SW in the Delridge neighborhood and will provide over 35,000 sf of self-storage space for the area. Inspired by the building’s program of stacking boxes, the design is composed of several stacked masses of varying sizes and materials. Generous landscaping is also proposed around the site, which includes seating, bike parking, weather protection, and a large green wall. This, in addition to safety improvements made to the site’s alley access from Delridge Way will make for a friendlier pedestrian experience and contribute to the well-being of the neighborhood.
